Description
The Type A – Carbon Filter efficiently removes organic vapors such as ketones, ethers, alcohols, and xylenes. It can also handle small quantities of inorganic acids, though excessive acid vapors may quickly saturate the filter since the activated carbon is not impregnated.
The filtration process begins when air enters through the lower grid. It then spreads evenly across the filtration surface before passing through the activated carbon bed. This setup prevents preferred paths and ensures consistent efficiency. Finally, the filtered air exits through the top of the filter.
Users refill the activated carbon through the upper opening. It settles on a polyester grid, which keeps it stable and effective.
