Description
The Splitter provides a reliable solution for managing solvent waste collection in laboratories. Its 3-way ball valve with an L-bore design features a stainless steel housing and three GL25 male connections, ensuring durability and precision. Additionally, the integrated control module and two mounted signal cables (length: 2 m) enable seamless operation. The aluminium mounting bracket supports wall installation, while the power supply (Input: 100-240V/1.2 A, Output: 24V/max. 1.75 A) includes plug adapters for EU, Australia, USA, Japan, and the UK.
Furthermore, the connection thread GL25 allows direct installation of Waste Tubes. When paired with a Display for Splitter (Cat. No. R 653-01) and Waste Caps with electronic level indicators, the system enables automatic sequential filling of two canisters at one solvent collection point. To prevent overflow, the Splitter automatically switches from a full to an empty collection canister. Designed for preparative HPLC applications, it efficiently handles large solvent volumes in user-friendly canisters.
Moreover, if a malfunction occurs, the system utilizes the remaining volume in full canisters to prevent overflow. Compatibility with other brands’ filling level devices must be checked individually.
