Laboratory taps
UniFlex™ Connection
The BROEN-LAB UniFlex™ Connection is achieved through a double seal created with both an O-ring and the conical shape of the metal seal itself. This combination has proven to be the most effective way to maintain seal integrity as well as flexibility. BROEN-LAB provide a complete range of laboratory taps, valves and regulators with UniFlex™ connections. This technology offers end users a variety of connection methods such as hoses, Cu-, PEX or stainless steel pipes.
Quick release & connection systems
BROEN-LABs Quick Release and Connection System is designed to enable laboratory users to quickly connect and disconnect mobile work stations in minutes. The coupling is designed to only allow components that fit together to be connected. To disconnect, its as easy as pulling back the sleeve of the coupling to release the nozzle. On release of the nozzle, the coupling is automatically closed.

Our goal is to provide our customers with the correct product to meet their exact requirements, using a simple set of logical menus. For example we have utilized the product specification data provided by our manufacturers to create a product configurator for laboratory taps. This enables our customers to find, configure and order the product they need – quickly and easily.
The entire order process can take minutes. We provide bench, wall and suspended fitted taps, with fixed or quick release nozzles for over 15 gases ranging from natural burning gas to 4.0 and soon 6.0 non-burning gases and waters. All of our taps come with standard hose and connection fittings, which on request, can be customized to match the needs of your laboratory.

With that in mind, we have created a Laboratory Design Configurator to better understand the requirements of your project. Once completed, our experts will contact you with a solution tailored to your project’s needs. The Configurator has seven steps, taking no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete. In order to expediate the process, see below the information required by our experts:
- Laboratory type
- The amount of squared meters available
- Number of staff in the work space
- If Biological Safety Levels (BSLs) 1-4 or Occupational Exposure Bands 1-6 (OEBs) must be considered
- Whether basic, mid or high level specification is required for your laboratory
- A list of equipment required e.g. fume cupboards, glasswashers, bio safety cabinets e.t.c.
